Rainbow Gallery    a therapeutic and commercial art and craft centre

The Rainbow Gallery is an inspiring art project based in a restored Georgian double roundel Oast House situated within Yonsea Farm adjacent to the South of England Rare Breeds Centre

The Gallery offers an inspiring workshop space for painting, pottery, textiles, desktop publishing and our specialist sensory art room. This area provides one to one sessions as well as small group sensory art sessions.

The work of our Artists is sold at various Craft Fairs in the South East and you are welcome to contact us to discuss individually commissioned work.

Rainbow Gallery is one of the 7 day services provided by the Canterbury Oast Trust. Artist placements are available during the week over 5 days - these sessions are broken down into morning and evening slots that cater for 10 to 12 artists per session. (this equates to around 110 placements per week).

The Gallery is a thriving and dynamic activity project that supports artists with both complex and mild learning difficulties with the support of a skilled team of tutors.

Costumes, Props & Scenery for 'Tommy the Lamp'

The reputation of the Gallery has grown steadily through the innovation of regular community projects. Each year the Rainbow Gallery works for several months on a focused event, which may be a Fashion Show, an Art Exhibitions, props and scenery design for dramatic productions or outside events like the Hythe Venetian Fete.
